Ender's Game by Orson Scott

In the Fourth chapter Launch, since Ender accepted to go to Graff's school he had to board the shuttle to go there. He is being separated from other children just like Graff wants because he's the main person for the experiment. But it's too early for Ender to realize what is really going on because Graff has a good way of doing that. But because Ender is nervous to associate with the children so he put on a serious face. "I looked serious to hide my shyness."(51) He didn't know how to start a conversation so he looked scary for other people to associate with him. But deep down in his heart all he wanted was friends. He wanted to feel normal.
the technology that was being used in the shuttle was unique. And it helped Graff put the procedure in action because Ender is isolated from all of the other children. To be human you need friends or people you can rely on because you tend to feel lonely. The language is used to manipulate Ender because he's the main asset for the experiment. Graff acts friendly to him, but he really is just going to use him and leave him there. In my previous blog "You want power... I got it" I talk about the people that really would do anything to get what they want. This gives less power to those that are being used. And it gives omnipotent power to those people that are using others because they can do what ever they want.
